![]() ![]() Early Intervention
Do you have concerns about your child's walking, talking, seeing or
hearing? The first three years of life are the most critical in a
child's development. The Early Intervention (EI) staff can help parents
and caregivers locate the resources available to get the extra help a
child may need. The EI program was designed to identify children with
developmental delays and to provide the services that reduce the
effects of those delays. If your child has a delay, he or she may be
eligible for these services at no cost to the family: physical,
occupational and speech therapy, early intervention classes, respite
care, parent support, education, and other family resources.
