  Delaware County Cultural Arts CenterGeneral InformationThe Delaware County Cultural Arts Center ("Arts Castle") is a community dream-come true, made possible by the support and volunteer efforts of county residents, businesses and corporations. Opened in 1989, the Center offers classes for all ages, as well as art exhibits, museum trips, lunchtime lectures, summer children's programs and special events. Classes, taught by professional artists and craftsmen, range from ballet and belly dancing, to weaving, watercolors, poetry, papermaking, jewelry, sculpture, acting and art appreciation.Did You Know ... that many of the Arts Castle teachers have won honors in their field? All are highly skilled artists and craftspeople. They not only educate us but enrich our lives. We are privileged to have them on staff! Office hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.Exhibits and Gallery ShopLooking for something to do on a rainy afternoon? The Arts Castle has many wonderful exhibits, a Gallery Shop and. from time to time, special events. Check the Arts Castle's Exhibits Page for current information.Class RegistrationRegistration for classes is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations are accepted four times per year in the spring, summer, fall and winter. You may register by mail, online, in person, or by telephone (if paying by Mastercard or Visa). Classes are subject to cancellation, based on enrollment.DiscountsDiscounts are available for all dues-paying members of the Arts Castle. Members are also entitled to a 10% discount on the series subscription price of tickets to its Horizons Music Series and/or OWU's Performing Arts Lecture Series and/or one free ticket to a Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra series concert. Senior citizens who are not members of the Arts Castle receive a 10% discount on class fees.ScholarshipsFunds are made possible through the generous gifts of several individuals and corporations. Scholarships are available for students who qualify, based on financial need or ability. Applications are available at the Arts Castle.
